By creating an account, accessing, or using Resuma's services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please discontinue use immediately.

You must be at least 18 years old or have parental consent to use our services.

You agree to provide accurate and complete information when creating your account.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.

These Terms may be updated periodically, and continued use constitutes acceptance of changes.

2. Use of Service

Resuma provides AI-powered resume building tools, templates, and career guidance services. You may use our platform for personal, non-commercial purposes to create professional resumes and cover letters. Commercial use requires prior written consent.

Permitted Uses: Creating resumes, cover letters, and professional documents for job applications.

Account Security: You are responsible for all activities under your account.

Service Availability: We strive for 99.9% uptime but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service.

Content Ownership: You retain ownership of your personal information and resume content.

3. Prohibited Activities

To maintain a safe and professional environment, the following activities are strictly prohibited when using our platform:

Uploading false, misleading, or fraudulent information in resumes or profiles.

Attempting to reverse engineer, hack, or compromise our AI algorithms or security systems.

Using our platform for spam, harassment, or any illegal activities.

Sharing account credentials or allowing unauthorized access to your account.

4. Intellectual Property

Resuma owns all intellectual property rights in our platform, including but not limited to our AI technology, resume templates, design elements, logos, and proprietary algorithms. Users retain ownership of their personal content while granting us necessary licenses to provide our services.

Our Property: Templates, AI algorithms, branding, and platform technology.

Your Property: Personal information, work experience, and custom content you provide.

License Grant: You grant us license to process your content to provide our services.

Restrictions: You may not copy, distribute, or create derivative works of our platform.

5. Payment and Subscriptions

We offer both free and premium subscription plans. Premium features require payment and are billed according to your chosen plan. All payments are processed securely through our payment partners.

Subscription fees are charged in advance and are non-refundable except as required by law.

You may cancel your subscription at any time, with access continuing until the end of your billing period.

We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days advance notice to existing subscribers.

Failed payments may result in temporary suspension of premium features.

6. Termination

Either party may terminate this agreement at any time. You may delete your account through your account settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, engage in prohibited activities, or for any reason with reasonable notice. Upon termination, your access to premium features will cease, but you may retain access to your downloaded resumes.
